Dental Emergencies Can’t Wait

When you’re experiencing sudden dental pain, swelling, trauma, or a broken tooth, getting prompt care matters. At Heavenly Smiles Dentist, we provide compassionate emergency dental care focused on relieving discomfort quickly, protecting your oral health, and helping you feel at ease throughout treatment.

Whether you are a current patient or visiting us for the first time, our team will do everything possible to accommodate urgent dental needs as quickly as we can.

Common Dental Emergencies We Treat

Severe Toothaches

Persistent or intense tooth pain can be a sign of infection, decay, nerve damage, or other underlying dental problems. We work quickly to diagnose the source of discomfort and provide fast relief.

Broken, Cracked, or Chipped Teeth

Dental injuries can happen unexpectedly from sports, accidents, falls, or biting hard foods. Prompt treatment helps protect the tooth and prevent additional damage.

Knocked-Out Teeth

A knocked-out tooth requires immediate attention. In many cases, fast treatment may help save the tooth and improve the chances of successful reattachment.

Swelling or Dental Infections

Facial swelling, gum swelling, or signs of infection should never be ignored. Dental infections can worsen quickly and may require urgent treatment to protect your health.

Lost Fillings, Crowns, or Restorations

A lost restoration can leave your tooth vulnerable to pain and further damage. We can help restore comfort and function as soon as possible.

Dental Abscesses

An abscess is a serious infection that may cause swelling, severe pain, fever, or a bad taste in the mouth. Immediate evaluation is important to prevent complications.

Soft Tissue Injuries

Cuts, bleeding, or injuries involving the lips, cheeks, gums, or tongue can often require professional dental care and evaluation.

What To Do During a Dental Emergency

If You Have a Toothache

Rinse your mouth gently with warm water and avoid placing aspirin directly on the gums. Contact our office as soon as possible for evaluation.

If a Tooth Is Knocked Out

Carefully hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. Gently rinse it without scrubbing and try to place it back into the socket if possible. If not, keep it in milk or saliva and call our office immediately.

If You Have Swelling

Apply a cold compress to the outside of the face and contact our office promptly, especially if swelling is severe or accompanied by fever.

If a Tooth Breaks

Rinse your mouth with warm water and save any broken pieces if possible. Avoid chewing on the affected side until treatment.
